Eden’s Landing has been part of Mullumbimby’s story for over 30 years. A local organic grocer supporting seasonal produce, spray-free farming, and conscious shopping in the Northern Rivers.

In 2017, a new chapter began as Amir and Ricky, alongside their youthful family took the reins, blending culture, community, and sustainability into the heart of the store.

Amir and Ricky-Bell Zikhron, alongside their growing family, took a leap of faith, stepping into the world of small business to breathe new life into Eden’s Landing, trying to create the most inviting and best organic grocer in the Northern Rivers.

Their vision was clear:

To create a vibrant, welcoming space where culture, good food, and community could meet.

With Amir’s North African roots and Ricky-Bell’s Eastern European heritage, the family brought something unique to Mullumbimby’s grocery scene: a deep love for hospitality, traditional foods, and the joy of sharing. They set out to build a healthy grocer that felt like home, offering some of the best produce in the Byron Shire, along with handcrafted dips, a delicious range of traditional European cheeses, seasonal fruit and veg, and pantry goods made with care.

We envisioned a shop that felt like home.  Abundant with local and organic fruit and vegetables, handcrafted pantry goods, and a deli full of their family’s own recipes, like their famous dips, lovingly made each week.

But the path wasn’t always easy...

The journey that shaped Eden's Landing

Stepping into this new world, we quickly realised that passion alone wasn’t enough.

We loved food. We loved people. But our family-owned organic grocer in Mullumbimby came with challenges.

We had to dive deep into sustainable practices, learn the rhythms of seasonal produce, and understand what it really means to support local, from ethical supply chains to regenerative relationships with growers in Byron Bay and beyond. Most of all, we had to find a way to weave our culture, our values, and our sense of home into a space that served our community.

But we kept showing up.

Through the endless long days, we poured ourselves into the store. Slowly, Eden’s Landing began to reflect us. Eden's Landing became our second home, starting to transform into the incredible healthy grocer in Mullumbimby that we dreamed of - and everyone started to feel that warmth.

i love Mullumbimby because... The great vibes people walk in with, and the tunes my staff put on create such a fun atmosphere. The team are always kind and welcoming. 

The range of products are impressive and yummy, with plenty of variety to choose from. On site dips are a real high quality and absolutely delicious.
